We led the way with the world's first website providing interactive jewellery personalisation (photo-realistic).
We recently released version 2 of Design-a-Tiara, which is faster, easier to use and has a wider range of choice.
Brides can see the tiara of their choice as a photographic composite. They can zoom in and see the intricacy of the handmade jewellery. And they can personalise the tiara to the style and colours that are just right for their wedding outfit. Finally they can add it to the cart and buy it online.

Behind the scenes on Design-a-Tiara
Design-a-Tiara isn't simply a slick piece of Flash design. Behind the scenes, the tiaras, the jewels, the pricing and the presentation are controlled from a database.
This means that every time Mia Masri brings out a new tiara design, or adds a new jewel to the collection, it can be added to the database and will instantly appear on the website. No further programming needed.
There's also a sophisticated piece of software behind-the-scenes for Mia Masri to place the jewels on each tiara. Whereas customers can select which tiara they want and which jewels to use, the placement of those jewels is predefined.
But how do you translate a jewellery designer's layout onto screen pixel positions, and how do you get the jewels in the right orientation? As well as creating the public tiara design feature, we also created an interactive tool that allows Mia Masri to drag and drop jewels visually onto each design, nudging and rotating them until they're picture perfect.
The pricing is also handled off a database and each time a customer makes a single change to a tiara, the price is recalculated. If Mia Masri introduces a special offer on a tiara design or even on a specific configuration, that gets immediately reflected on the public website.
