We all know (and dislike) call centres: waiting on hold, explaining your issue over and over to different people and hearing scripted responses that show no one's really listening. Unfortunately, it's the problem with ‘Pile ‘em high, sell ‘em cheap' services. And it's no different with web hosting.
We offer a different approach, one that fits better with our ethos of quality and service. Usefully, you'll still find that we're competitively priced. But if you do ever need to ask for help, you'll always have someone knowledgeable to talk to, who will take responsibility for solving any problem and follow up to make sure everything is working fine again.
We also include some features as standard that are usually paid extras elsewhere:
- Most hosting providers guarantee 99.9% uptime. Our record since we began hosting exceeds 99.99%.
- Our server has 2 levels of back-up.
(Tech details: RAID mirrored disks on the server plus an offsite daily backup) - If a major internet provider such as BT were to go down, our server would switch provider and remain online.
(Tech details: the server is hosted on a network with multiple redundancy.) - Our speed and availability outranks the big names, several times over.
(Tech details: Our network provider was recently rated top for uptime and bandwidth, beating Rackspace and almost 200 others by a significant margin, including small as well as big names.

(Tech details: This did get tested recently when a customer sent email to his out-of-date database that was initially valid, but came to contain some spam-traps. The issue was detected and dealt with before it could cause widespread disruption – only 2 customers were even aware of an issue, one of whom was the cause of the problem.)
